Sushma Bhat, Founder of MusicNamaste participated in a panel presentation of literary works in the 10th Kannada Vasantha Sahityosva (Kannada Literary Confluence), conducted by Kannada Sahithya Ranga, USA (representing whole of USA and Canada), and Mallige Kannada Association of North Texas. This is a mega event that happens every two years and this is their 10 literary celebration of Kannada literature. The theme of this event is Kannada folk literature , and Chief guest was Dr.Krishnamurthy Hanur from Bengaluru. There were many authors in this event from all over USA and Canada. In this event, she was privileged to have presented her prose/poetry style folk song about what happened years ago when a lorry/truck visited my small ancestral village. The inspiration for this composition is a story that her grandfather told her years ago. It was a great honor for her to have shared the stage as part of this panel presentation with other passionate Kannada writers.
